01 / Bring a scene
Upload your video or import a direct video link. Describe the new cast and, optionally, a new setting. Add reference images if you have a particular look in mind.
Your film.
A whole new cast.
Give a finished scene a different lead, or move the entire cast into a new world. Recast follows your source performance and keeps its cuts, running time and original soundtrack.
02 / See the price
Recast reads the source and returns a quote with a spending ceiling. Review it before starting. Quotes lock your plan and price for 24 hours.
03 / Watch them together
Get your film and a synchronized original-left, Recast-right comparison. The report shows processing charges, quality findings and anything that still needs attention.

Reimagine the cast.
Choose Recast to replace the performers while keeping the source world. Choose Reskin to redesign the cast and surroundings together. Recurring characters share visual references across shots.
Try an unlikely veteran courier in a chase scene, a space-age cooking show, or an animated cast in a colorful product spot. Use footage you own or have permission to transform.
A quote before the run
$0.20 per transformed second
$2 minimum service fee, plus metered processing. A 20-second transformation has a service fee of up to $4; the quote adds the processing and repair allowance. Source analysis for a quote is billed separately.
Unused allowance is not charged. If final review is incomplete or finds unresolved defects, the service fee is waived. Processing costs still apply. Pay from your Soundside credit balance.
How quoting and billing workBuilt for review
AI video editing can change hands, props, lettering and facial motion. Recast checks shot comparisons and the finished video, attempts bounded repairs, and names remaining problems in its report. Watch the comparison before publishing. Your original and every delivered version are preserved.
Recast retains the original audio; it does not clone a new performer’s voice. Start with a short scene to see how your material responds.
